Privacy Policy
Effective: August 20, 2026
1. Overview
Keplyo is a local-first application for saving and organizing personal content. Keplyo is developed by AXL Digital Inc.
The current version is designed so that content you save in Keplyo is processed and stored locally in the application’s storage on your device rather than transmitted to Keplyo-operated servers.
2. Information You Add to Keplyo
You may voluntarily create, select, or share information with Keplyo, including:
- Keep text and other saved content;
- notes;
- collection names and tags;
- saved URLs and text;
- photos, files, and other media;
- original filenames and file metadata needed for local organization;
- reminder dates and times; and
- content you intentionally share into Keplyo through your operating system’s Share interface.
Keplyo handles this information to provide the feature you requested. In the current version, this saved content is handled locally and is not collected on Keplyo-operated servers.
3. Information Stored on Your Device
Keplyo stores app content and app preferences in local application storage. This includes the local database, Keplyo-owned local media files needed to provide the product, and local preferences such as language and onboarding-completion state.
Keplyo does not currently transmit your saved content to Keplyo-operated servers. Your device or operating-system provider may back up application data according to your device and cloud-backup settings. Keplyo does not control Apple, Google, or other platform backup and restore behavior.
4. Files and Photos
Keplyo accesses a photo or file when you intentionally select it through the operating system’s picker. On Android, the current implementation uses the system document picker rather than broad storage access. Keplyo does not scan your photo library or device storage broadly.
Files and photos that you select may be copied into Keplyo-owned local app storage so Keplyo can save and organize them. The current version does not upload those selected files to a Keplyo-operated server.
5. Content Shared to Keplyo
When you choose Keplyo from your operating system’s Share interface, the content you selected may be temporarily staged locally so Keplyo can import and save it. Keplyo does not monitor content you share to other applications.
6. Reminders and Notifications
Keplyo can schedule local reminders when you ask it to. Where required by the operating system, notification permission is used to deliver those reminders.
The current reminder feature uses native local notification facilities and does not require a Keplyo push-notification server.
7. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
The current version of the Keplyo mobile app does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, behavioral tracking, or cross-app tracking. Keplyo does not sell personal information and does not currently use user content for targeted advertising.
The Keplyo website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TFVXN6MR8R) only after you choose to allow analytics. Google Analytics may collect pseudonymous website-usage information such as page views, session statistics, approximate geolocation, browser and device information, and traffic-source information. When analytics consent is granted, Google Analytics uses first-party identifiers such as the _ga cookie to distinguish users and sessions. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.
We use Basic Consent Mode: the Google Analytics tag is blocked until analytics consent is granted. Advertising-related consent remains denied, and the site does not currently use Google Ads remarketing or personalized advertising. You can change your analytics choice using the Analytics settings control on the site.
8. Network and Cloud Services
The current version does not provide Keplyo Cloud or account-based synchronization and does not transmit saved Keplyo content to a Keplyo-operated cloud backend.
If Keplyo introduces optional cloud, synchronization, collaboration, AI, account, or other network-based functionality in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those practices are represented as part of the service.
9. Third-Party Software and Platform Services
Keplyo uses software libraries and operating-system services required to provide local functionality. The current audited mobile app version does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Platform features such as the system file picker, Share interface, notifications, device backups, and app distribution may involve Apple, Google, or your platform provider under their own privacy terms. Using a local system picker does not by itself mean that Keplyo sends the selected file to Apple or Google.
The website is hosted by Vercel. Website hosting and network providers may process standard request information, such as IP address and request metadata, as needed to deliver and secure the website under their own terms.
If you allow website analytics, Google LLC provides Google Analytics for Keplyo.com. Analytics data is processed under Google’s applicable terms and privacy practices. Keplyo does not send content saved inside the Keplyo mobile app to Google Analytics.
10. Data Sharing
Keplyo does not currently send saved user content to Keplyo-operated servers. Keplyo does not sell user data and does not share user content with advertising networks or data brokers.
If you allow website analytics, Keplyo.com usage data is sent to Google Analytics as described above. This does not include content saved in the Keplyo mobile app.
User-directed operating-system actions are distinct from Keplyo selling or sharing data. For example, you may intentionally select a file with a platform picker or choose to use another platform feature.
11. Data Retention and Deletion
User content remains stored locally while it is retained in Keplyo. Deleting a Keep removes it from active views and moves it to Keplyo’s local Trash by marking it as deleted.
The current version does not provide permanent physical deletion, an Empty Trash action, or automatic Trash purging. A Keep in Trash, together with the local data it references, remains stored locally and recoverable until you restore it or the application’s local data is otherwise removed.
Uninstalling Keplyo generally removes its local app container, subject to operating-system backup and restore behavior. Because the current app does not provide Keplyo cloud storage, there is no corresponding server-side copy of locally saved content to delete from a Keplyo cloud account.
12. Security
Keplyo relies on the application sandbox and app-private storage provided by the operating system, together with platform security controls and system permissions or pickers used for specific features. No claim is made here that Keplyo provides end-to-end, zero-knowledge, or other specialized encryption that is not part of the current audited implementation.
13. Your Choices
- You decide what content to save in Keplyo.
- You decide which photos and files to select.
- You decide whether to share content into Keplyo.
- You can control notification permission through your operating system.
- You can move Keeps to Trash and restore them through the app’s current deletion and restore functionality.
- You can remove the application and its local app data by uninstalling Keplyo, subject to platform backup and restore behavior.
The current version does not have a Keplyo account backend, so there is no account-deletion workflow to use.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Keplyo evolves. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
